AFRI–CIRD is a multidisciplinary research and development centre committed to improving lives across Africa. With a team of seasoned professionals, we conduct data-driven research, facilitate community empowerment, and provide evidence-based policy support across a wide range of sectors.
AFRI–CIRD has a pool of over 500 interviewers and 250 supervisors across Nigeria, capable of providing male and female interviewers with equal gender representation. Most interviewers have tertiary education with a minimum of a National Diploma (ND) and at least three (3) years of field experience.
Approximately 85% of interviewers are based in the 36 states, while 15% are deployed from the head office for specialised tasks. All field staff communicate, read, and write fluently in their local languages.
About 95% of supervisors hold university degrees, many with Master’s qualifications, and have an average of six (6) years supervising data collection and specialised interviews.
We uphold the highest standards of ethics and methodology, ensuring all research and evaluations meet global credibility benchmarks.
Our work drives data-driven solutions, supporting Africa's transformation through insightful, results-oriented development strategies.
With a robust network across Nigeria’s 36 states, we deploy well-coordinated, highly skilled teams tailored to every project.
Our teams are trained in “Do No Harm” and “Leave No One Behind” principles and excel in respectful community entry and engagement.
We use cutting-edge tools like QGIS, SPSS, STATA, and Nvivo for statistical, geospatial, and qualitative data analysis.
As a CAC-registered nonprofit, we operate transparently and professionally, focusing on impactful development across Africa.
